In Memoriam: William “Bert” Sigmon

William “Bert” Sigmon died Jan. 6. He was 69.  

He earned his undergraduate degree from Campbell University and his law degree from Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law. Sigmon practiced with the N.C. Office of Special Counsel, Indigent Defense Services, representing patients at Broughton State Hospital in Morganton. He was also a commissioned lay pastor in the Presbyterian Church.

Sigmon was an NCAJ member from 2010 to 2019.
