In Memoriam: Eddie Knox
H. Edward “Eddie” Knox died June 22. He was 89.
Knox was a former state legislator and two-term mayor of Charlotte who helped usher in an era of rapid growth and development in the Queen City. He was senior managing partner of Knox, Brotherton, Knox and Godfrey and practiced law in Charlotte for more than 60 years. Knox joined NCAJ in 1970, and was honored with an Ebbie Award in 2004.
