In Memoriam: John Paul Kapp

John Paul Kapp died on Oct. 18. He was 88.

Kapp earned his medical degree from Duke University and spent two decades as a professor of neurosurgery in Tennessee, Mississippi and New York before earning his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law in 1990. He practiced law in his hometown of Galax, Virginia, and in Winston-Salem until he retired in 2007.

Kapp was a member of NCAJ from 1991 to 1999. He focused his practice on professional negligence, personal injury and products liability.
