In Memoriam: Marshall F. Dotson Jr.

Marshall F. Dotson Jr. died Jan. 18, 2026. He was 95.

Dotson practiced law in Jacksonville and Onslow County for more than 50 years, including many as a partner in the firm Warlick, Milstead, Dotson and Carter. He served many years as Onslow County School Board attorney and Jacksonville City attorney. Dotson was a member of NCAJ from 1974 to 2004.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Guilford College and his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.
