In Memoriam: Lucian Holt Felmet Jr.

Lucian Holt Felmet Jr. died April 17, 2025. He was 79.

Felmet practiced law begining in 1974 in Lillington and his career included civil litigation, real estate and probate law and death penalty cases as well as service as contract attorney for the Harnett County Child Support Agency for over 30 years. He served one term as president of the 11th Judicial District Bar.

He earned his undergraduate degree from Wake Forest Universityand his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.

Felmet was a member of NCAJ from 1983 to 2008.
