In Memoriam: Clarence Richard Tate Jr.

C. Richard Tate Jr. died Dec. 2. He was 89 years old.

Tate was member number 71 of the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers and served on the Board of Trustees and in other leadearship roles in the early days of the organization. He was a graduate of Wake Forest University and Wake Forest University School of Law and practiced law in High Point and Guilford County for over 50 years. His practice focused on criminal defense and family law.

A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. at Forest Hills Presbyterian Church in High Point. Find his obit and more details here.
