In Memoriam: Carl “Will” Atkinson Jr.

Carl “Will” Atkinson Jr. died April 6. He was 79.

Atkinson graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and earned his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. He practiced law for 60 years, beginning in 1973 when moved to Troy and began to practice law with Horace McCall. He later formed the partnership of Hollers and Atkinson.

Atkinson was a member of NCAJ from 1980 to 2017.
