In Memoriam: David Robert Tanis

David Robert Tanis died Aug. 1. He was 82.  

Tanis was a graduate of Lehigh University and earned his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law. He practiced law in Forsyth County and the surrounding area. His 35-year career included service as an assistant district attorney, a district court judge and a trial lawyer and was president of the Forsyth County Criminal Defense Trial Lawyers Association. 

Tanis was a member of NCAJ from 1993 to 1998. Find his obituary here.
