In Memoriam: Lucretia Trent
Lucretia Trent died Feb. 28, 2025. She was 77.
Trent graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and earned her law degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill School of Law.
Her career included stints as the first female uniformed officer on patrol with the City of Salisbury, time as a social worker and as staff attorney for the Rowan County Department of Social Services.
She was a member of NCAJ from 1990 to 2003.
