Peggy Abrams Appointed to NC Awards Committee

Gov. Josh Stein has appointed Peggy Abrams as an at-large member of the North Carolina Awards Committee. Abrams is a partner at Abrams & Abrams PA in Raleigh and the former president of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.

The North Carolina Awards is an annual event that celebrates excellence in various fields such as fine arts, literature, public service and science. The awards are presented to individuals who have made significant contributions to their respective fields and have brought recognition to the state of North Carolina. Awards recipients are chosen by the North Carolina Awards Committee, a selection committee of five members appointed by the governor.
