In Memoriam: Ronald Limer Perkinson

Ronald Limer Perkinson died April 24, 2025. He was 77.
Perkinson practiced law in Sanford and was a mediator for civil litigation cases across the state. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.
He had a second career in stand-up comedy, performing at Charlie Goodnights in Raleigh and opening for national headliners including Jay Leno, Paul Reiser, Joe Bob Briggs and Jake Johannsen. His most recent return to the stage was in November 2024 at the Temple Theatre in Sanford with Circling the Drain, the third installment of a series of stand-up comedy shows where he performed with friends in the business.
Perkinson was a member of NCAJ from 1977 to 2001.
