Franklin Ennis Wells Jr. Deceased

Longtime NCAJ member Franklin Ennis Wells Jr. died on April 12. He was 60 years old. Wells was a frequent presenter at NCAJ criminal law seminars and served as vice president of the board of the Center for Death Penalty Litigation, which features a tribute to Wells on its website. CDPL presented Wells and his law partner Jon Megerian the J. Kirk Osborne Award in 2018 for their advocacy on behalf of those facing the death penalty. Click here for Wells’ obituary.
