N&O Names Britt ‘Tar Heel of the Month’
The News & Observer bestowed well-earned praise on NCAJ member Sen. Danny Britt this week, naming him “Tar Heel of the Month,” citing “his efforts to serve constituents and work with people across the political spectrum on legislation that is transforming the state’s criminal justice system.” Read the article here.
Britt, a Republican, represents Robeson and Columbus counties. His Lumberton-based practice, The Britt Law Firm, PC, focuses on criminal defense, family law and legal matters involving members of the military. Britt is a member of the NCAJ Criminal Defense Section. He earned his law degree from Oklahoma City University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Appalachian State University.
NCAJ gave Britt its Outstanding Legislator Award in 2020.
