Criminal Defense Section
The section is dedicated to empowering our members with cutting-edge analysis and resources to effectively advocate for our clients. With almost 350 section members, we have a diverse statewide membership and we actively participate in crucial discussions on emerging issues through our listserv. The section provides comprehensive discounted CLE courses for section members on Criminal Law, DWI, and the Death Penalty, along with case support such as moot exercises and amicus assistance from seasoned practitioners. Our unwavering commitment is to deliver exceptional services to our clients. As part of our membership benefits, we host monthly Section Roundtable discussions on pertinent subjects for our members and a extensive documents bank available for all section members. What sets our section apart is our role as the sole advocate for criminal defense legislation in North Carolina.
