Matt Silva is one of the founding members of Silva, Kiernan & Associates, PLLC, where he focuses on DWI, criminal defense, and real estate law.

Before law school, Silva moved to work as a Quality Assurance Chemist for a pharmaceutical company where he advanced his career by engaging in research and development on novel drug testing procedures. Silva gained a valuable understanding on how drugs should be tested, problems with testing procedures, and laboratory procedures that can render erroneous results. This experience is critical in evaluating DWI cases and criminal drug charges.

Silva is a member of the NCAJ Criminal Defense Section.

Matt earned his J.D. at Wake Forest University School of Law. He has been a member of NCAJ since 2024.
