Katie practices personal injury law and occupational licensure defense with the firm of Everett Gaskins Hancock (“EGH”), located in Raleigh, North Carolina.  She has been a member of EGH since 2017.  She previously worked with a Durham firm handling exclusively catastrophic personal injury cases, and before that as an Assistant District Attorney in Forsyth County.  Katie is a summa cum laude graduate of Wake Forest University School of Law and Wofford College.

Katie has been a member of NCAJ since 2014.  She has served on the Membership Committee and in various leadership roles of the New Lawyers Division (“NLD”), including Chair of the NLD from 2020-2021.  She is grateful to her fellow members of NCAJ for welcoming her in 2014 and for the friendship, support, and guidance that she has received from her fellow personal injury lawyers since.
