Justin Enecks is originally from southeast Tennessee, but he considers himself an “honorary” North Carolinian. Justin graduated from Duke University in 2004 and from Elon Law in 2010. He was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar that same year and began practicing law immediately thereafter. After a few years of general practice, Justin found that he gravitated most to criminal defense. In 2013, he and his wife, Erin, moved to Carteret County, and since then, he has focused his practice almost entirely on criminal and traffic law.

Justin is a member of NCAJ’s Criminal Defense section.

He earned his J.D. at Elon University School of Law and joined NCAJ in 2026.
