Elana Fogel is an Associate Clinical Professor of Law and the Director of the Criminal Defense Clinic at Duke Law. Prior to joining Duke, Elana was a trial attorney at the Federal Defenders of San Diego and the Committee for Public Counsel Services in Boston.

Elana is a member of NCAJ’s Criminal Defense Section and New Lawyers Division.

Elana joined NCAJ in 2022 and received her JD from NYU School of Law, where she was a Root-Tilden-Kern Lindemann Family Public Service
