Futures Without Violence
Bella Book develops and implements trainings, technical assistance, and practical tools to build capacity for attorneys and advocates to assist survivors with the unique challenges they face accessing and utilizing their employment protections. Prior to joining FUTURES, Bella served as a staff attorney at Legal Aid of North Carolina, holistically assisting low-wealth communities and low-wage workers on a variety of civil legal issues. Bella is an Education co-chair for the Employment Executive Committee of the North Carolina Advocates for Justice and sits on the Labor and Employment Council for the North Carolina Bar Association.
Bella is a member of NCAJ’s Employment Law and Women’s Caucus sections and New Lawyers Division.
She earned her J.D. at University of Michigan Law School and has been a member of NCAJ since 2023.
