Ashley Moore, NCIC Deputy Commissioner, Raleigh
Ashley M. Moore was reappointed to a second six-year term as a Deputy Commissioner and began serving as the Director of Claims Administration on Sept. 3, 2024. Prior to her first six-year term as a Deputy Commissioner, Moore served for three years as legal counsel to the Full Commission. During her first Deputy Commissioner term, Moore not only adjudicated workers’ compensation claims but also helped develop the Commission’s contempt hearing procedures and presided over all contempt matters at the Deputy Commissioner level. Before joining the Commission in 2015, Moore practiced family law for six years. Moore earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her J.D. from the North Carolina Central University School of Law.
