Wagner Moves to Latorre Law

Derek Wagner has moved to Latorre Law Firm, where he will continue to focus his practice on workers’ compensation cases.

Prior to joining Latorre Law Firm, Wagner spent multiple years representing both injured workers and defending employers and insurance carriers in workers’ compensation claims. The experience has helped him in representing and advocating for injured workers. One of Wagner’s biggest accomplishments was receiving a favorable decision in McSwain v. Industrial Commercial Sales & Service, LLC, from the North Carolina Court of Appeals in 2020.

Wagner earned his undergraduate degree from Eastern Michigan University and his law degree from Charlotte School of Law. He is a member of NCAJ’s New Lawyers Division and Workers’ Compensation Section.

Wagner was previously with Harman Law PLLC.
