State Bar Honors Connette With McMillan Award

The North Carolina State Bar has awarded its highest honor, the John B. McMillan Distinguished Service Award, to Edward G. “Woody” Connette. The award honors current and retired members of the North Carolina State Bar who have demonstrated exemplary service to the legal profession. Connette, who practices with Essex Richards, is a pioneer in ERISA litigation in North Carolina and frequent speaker at CLEs for NCAJ and others. He joins many other NCAJ members who have received the McMillan Award, including eight other NCAJ past presidents.
