NCAJ Welcomes Allison Parker As New Membership and Data Manager

Allison Parker has joined NCAJ as its Membership and Data Manager. She has worked in the association industry for eight years and the nonprofit industry for 12 years. In her most recent role, Parker served as Member Engagement Manager in a healthcare IT association. Prior to her role with the association, she held several program management and administrative roles with Habitat for Humanity, Meals on Wheels, and she began her career in nonprofit at a food bank. At these organizations she oversaw several objectives in member engagement, recruitment, and retention, database administration and implementation, event and meeting planning, volunteer management, sponsorship development and marketing. Parker holds a bachelor’s degree in political science with a minor in psychology from the University of South Carolina Upstate. She began her educational career at Western Carolina University.

Parker lives in Durham and has been a resident of the Triangle for over 14 years. She has one daughter who attends elementary school in Durham. She serves as president of her daughter’s school PTA, has held multiple roles with local advocacy groups, and is an active volunteer with her daughter’s Girl Scout troop. In her spare time, Parker enjoys hiking, fitness classes, book club, gardening, baking, and is an avid fan of the fantasy/sci-fi genre in film and literature.
