NCAJ Member Alex Charns Sets New Legal Novel In Durham
NCAJ member Alex Charns has published a new novel with a timely theme and a familiar setting. Charns describes his book “Bones of Black Saints” as a story of how racial discrimination infects every aspect of a criminal trial in Durham, including the white criminal defense attorneys. The novel is available in paperback and for download on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Charns says he plans to donate profits from the sale of the book to charity. Half the profits will go to SpiritHouse in Durham and half will go to an incarcerated client he believes is innocent.
