In Memoriam: William K. Diehl Jr.
Former NCAJ member William K. Diehl Jr., a well-known Charlotte plaintiffs’ attorney, died Dec. 9. He was 78.
He practiced law for 46 years in Mecklenburg County, retiring from the firm James, McElroy and Diehl in 2016. Diehl represented some of Charlotte’s most renowned residents. Diehl graduated from the University of North Carolina and the University of Virginia Law School.
