In Memoriam: Karen Krajci Murphy

Karen Krajci Murphy died May 5. She was 75. 

Murphy practiced law on behalf of people who could not afford an attorney and helped to bring health care to underserved communities across the state. She was a member of NCAJ from 1988 to 1999.  

Murphy earned her undergraduate degree frome Northern Illinois University and her law degree from DePaul University.  

A memorial service will be held later this summer in Chapel Hill. Find her obituary here.
