In Memoriam: E. Marshall Woodall

E. Marshall Woodall died June 16, 2025. He was 87.

He practiced law in Lillington for more than 50 years. As a general practitioner, he practiced tax law, real estate and estate planning. He served as the county tax attorney, taught business law at Campbell University, represented the Town of Coats and Harnett County in various legal matters and advocated for children in the Social Services system. After leaving private practice, he served as Clerk of Court, a magistrate, and the attorney for the Department of Social Services.

Marshall earned his undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his law degree from UNC School of Law. He was member of NCAJ from 1980 until 1999.
