Holmes Appointed to North Carolina Industrial Commission
Former NCAJ member Jessica N. Holmes has been appointed to serve as deputy commissioner on the North Carolina Industrial Commission in the Raleigh office. Holmes has worked as a solo practitioner and as counsel to various organizations and has experience in labor and employment law. Her public service includes two terms on the Wake County Board of Commissioners, which included tenure as chair. Holmes also served on the board of the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and her law degree from UNC School of Law.
