Glazier To Direct Blanchard Community Law Clinic
Rick Glazier has been named Director of Campbell Law’s Blanchard Community Law Clinic. Named for NCAJ founder Charles Blanchard, a clinic benefactor, the clinic’s mission is to help individuals overcome legal barriers to housing and employment. Law students staff the clinic, and since 2017, they have served more than 700 low-income clients.
Glazier is an adjunct professor at Campbell Law who has served as executive director of the N.C. Justice Center since 2015. He represented Cumberland County in the N.C. House of Representatives from 2003-2015.
Glazier has been a member of NCAJ since 1981 and is a past member of the NCAJ Board of Governors. NCAJ honored Glazier with the Charles Becton Teaching Award in 2020.
Glazier earned his law degree from Wake Forest University School of Law and his undergraduate degree from Penn State University.
