Lives in: Greensboro
Law degree from: Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law
Works as: Attorney at Ward Black Law
Legal Association Involvement: Secretary of the NCAJ Auto Torts & Premises Liability Section
Why NCAJ NEXT?
To better myself as an attorney and an individual.
Why is the idea of civil justice important to you?
My sister and I were hit by a drunk driver. She was killed and I was airlifted in critical condition with five broken bones. The road to recovery was long, tenuous and difficult while going through law school and grieving the loss of my sister. I have a passion for helping seriously injured people because I know what it’s like to feel helpless in the legal arena.
What is your vision for the future of NCAJ?
Helping in any capacity that will best serve the organization in furthering its goal of serving the less fortunate through legal advocacy.
Away from work …
I enjoy golf, board games, spending time with my wife and baby and watching TV shows and movies.
