Ferguson To Serve On NC Awards Committee
Gov. Cooper has appointed NCAJ Past President James E. Ferguson II of Charlotte as a member at-large of the North Carolina Awards Committee. Ferguson is a founding partner of the firm Ferguson, Chambers & Sumter, P.A. He served for more than 15 years as general counsel and member of the National Executive Committee of the American Civil Liberties Union. Ferguson served as NCAJ president in 2000-2001.
