Boyd Joins Edwards Beightol
J. Bryan Boyd has joined NCAJ members Kristen Beightol and Cate Edwards at Edwards Beightol, LLC, as a litigation attorney.
Boyd will focus his practice in the areas of personal injury, wrongful death, medical malpractice, birth injury, traumatic brain injury, trucking accidents, toxic exposure, nursing home abuse and neglect, sexual harassment, workplace discrimination, whistleblower/qui tam and wrongful termination litigation.
Boyd has over 15 years of experience as both a full-time professor of law, administrator and adjunct professor to multiple law schools. He was most recently a professor at Campbell Law and will continue to teach there in the spring. He has won the most outstanding professor award four times for his teaching and scholarship excellence.
Boyd also has served as Clerk of the North Carolina Supreme Court and has experience as a litigator.
He graduated with honors from Mars Hill University with a bachelor’s degree in philosophy in 1996. He graduated from Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 2001.
