An Update from the NCAJ Executive Director Search Committee
We’ve had a busy summer, following our tremendously successful Convention in Charlotte in June, and I am excited to share with you that the finalized job prospectus for our Executive Director opening has been officially posted by our partner in this process, Triangle-based firm moss + ross.
As you may recall from earlier communications, we enlisted the moss + ross executive search team to assist us in this search. Following in-depth interviews and collaboration with the search committee, stakeholders, leaders and staff, moss + ross has compiled a comprehensive job prospectus which is available on their website and will be posted with multiple organizations and networks across the nation in the coming days.
As far as the timeline is concerned, final applications are due by August 22. Once all applications have been received, the search committee will interview semi-finalists via Zoom by the end of September. The finalists will be invited to spend a day in Raleigh with the committee by the middle of October, with the goal of appointing a new Executive Director shortly after that. Please note that all aspects of the search will be confidential until finalists are named with the consent of the candidates.
I hope you will share the prospectus with your personal networks and encourage anyone you know with an interest and commensurate experience to apply. Should you or any of your contacts have questions or concerns about the posting, please direct those to Emily Bruce at moss + ross.
I also want to take a moment to thank our Interim Executive Director Shannon Leskin for her continued leadership during this time of transition. Our professional team and organization are in great hands and our mission – empowering a strong community of trial lawyers – continues to be expertly advanced each day.
Please stay tuned for future updates and thank you for your continued support and commitment to NCAJ.
