Abrams In New York Times On $75M Award
The New York Times was among many to report on a $75 million dollar judgment a Raleigh jury awarded to Henry McCollum and Leon Brown as compensation for the nearly 31 years each spent in prison for a murder they did not commit. NCAJ member Elliot Abrams was on the legal team that represented the men. “There are so many tragedies here,” Abrams told The Times. “You think of all the different times that a single action could have stopped this from happening.” Read in The New York Times and The News & Observer.
