NCAJ High School Mock Trial State Finals

At the end of the day on Saturday, March 18, J.H. Rose High School beat Carrboro High School in the championship round. But the two days of excitement for the 10 teams that made it to the NCAJ High School Mock Trial State Finals were a win for everyone involved. Find more results below the gallery.

An all-star panel of NCAJ presidents past and present served as jurors for the final case: Valerie Johnson, John McCabe, Janet Ward Black, Mark Sumwalt and Burton Craig. Lucy Inman presided as judge for the final.

During the competition rounds at the State Finals Championship, presiding judges select best attorneys and best witnesses and these individuals are recognized at the awards ceremony on Saturday. Here are their selections:
