Social Security Disability Law: Ethics, Technology, and Practical Tips for Effective Advocacy

This half-day hybrid program will cover a range of topics relevant to the practice of Social Security Disability Law. The course will provide insight into the Disability Determination Explanation and review strategies for overcoming the state agency findings. We will learn tips for handling common post eligibility issues for SSI recipients. The program will offer suggestions for attorneys in using technology and social media in a way that complies with the Rules of Professional Conduct. And lastly, we will focus on how to compassionately address the disease of addiction in our profession and practice.
