Why NCAJ NEXT?

As a new attorney, it’s often difficult to see myself as a leader within the legal profession. I want to take advantage of the unique opportunity to participate in a program designed specifically for young attorneys to connect and develop their leadership skills.

Why is the idea of criminal justice important to you?

The idea of criminal justice is a fundamental principal of our nation’s founding. Equal treatment and protection under the law is critical to procure justice.

What’s your vision for NCAJ?

I see NCAJ only expanding its reach. Equipping attorneys across the state with the tools/resources required to represent their clients to the best of their ability and impacting the criminal justice system in a positive way.

Away from work …

I live in Stokesdale with my husband and two cats, Bella and Blair. I enjoy spending time with my family, gardening, crafts/DIY projects, outdoor activities and reading.
