June 10-12, 2021

After a year unlike any we have ever experienced, we are excited to bring NCAJ members together for a Virtual Convention designed for the times – our first fully online gathering to include CLE programming.

For just $199, you will get access to the entire program, including:
•    6 hours of CLE as case law updates (1 hour substance abuse/mental health)
•    a legislative panel featuring NCAJ member legislators
•    a virtual 5K run/walk with prizes delivered directly to your home
•    an evening social
•    and the NCAJ Annual Meeting.

That’s a tremendous value given that 6 hours of CLE alone is normally $290 for members and $390 for non-members.

Many thanks to our Virtual Convention 2021 sponsors and exhibitors whose participation and support make this discount on NCAJ CLE programming possible for our attendees.

All programing will be delivered on a new, state-of-the-art virtual platform through Elevate virtual event systems, including a virtual exhibit hall where you can mix and mingle with NCAJ sponsors and exhibitors and even win prizes.

The June 11 NCAJ Annual Meeting will include awards, a state of the association address from Executive Director Kim Crouch, the passing of the gavel from President David Henson to President-elect John McCabe, and a presentation you will not want to miss from lawyer and resilience coach Laura Mahr.

Laura’s cutting-edge work to promote well-being in the practice of law is informed by 13 years as a civil sexual assault attorney, two decades of experience as an educator and professional trainer, and 25 years as a student and teacher of mindfulness and yoga, as well as a love of neuroscience, neurobiology, and neuropsychology. After bringing herself back from the brink of burnout with the tools she now teaches, Laura shares well-being strategies with thousands of lawyers each year in her writing and presentations for law firms, law schools, government organizations, Bar associations, and CLE providers.

Through her interactive presentation, "A Resilient Mindset: Coming Back Stronger After a Global Crisis," participants will learn how to cultivate a mindset that supports them in recovering from the repercussions of the pandemic.
